Activision has announced that PlayStation 3 Call of Duty: Black Ops players can download the game's first downloadable content, First Strike - formerly a timed "exclusive" for Xbox 360 players - from March 4th.

This is only just over a month after it hit the Xbox 360 on February 2nd. First Strike contains four new multiplayer maps and a new map for the game's Zombie Mode. The price is yet to be confirmed.

Although no date has been specified for the DLC's PC release, Activision has confirmed that it will indeed eventually arrive for that platform.
