Father kills son’s video game characters
Thu, 10th Jan 2013
FYI, this story is more than a year old

A father has hired in-game assassins to kill his son's video game characters in an effort to help him find work.

23-year-old Xiao Feng spends all of his time playing video games as opposed to earning a wage, which led his father to take drastic action to get his point across.

Hiring players to hunt down and kill his son's characters, Feng's fathers idea was to make his son bored of playing games if he was instantly killed every time he logged on.

While the name of the game was not revealed, nor whether Xiao actually got a job, Feng's methods have seen him gain worldwide fame across the internet forums - praising such creative parenting.
