Is Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes too short?

It appears Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes really is a prologue to The Phantom Pain. The game could be one of the shortest games released in recent memory.

The latest issue of Game Informer magazine has a huge feature about Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. They wrote that the game’s core story mission could be completed in just “less than 2 hours”.

It’s worth noting that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes serves as a prologue to The Phantom Pain which is rumored for release in 2015. Still, the game is short even if you add in other missions and extras.

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will cost $69.99 on the PS3 and Xbox 360 and $79.99 on the PS4 and Xbox One.

Are you still going to pick up the game even though it’s literally a prologue to The Phantom Pain which will be an actual full game?
