PlayStation TV set for NZ release…

Following PlayStation TV’s launch in Asian countries, Sony has now announced its launch in New Zealand this coming year.

As a result, PlayStation TV will come in black and will be available this spring 2014 across the country, with the standalone system priced at $159.95.

PlayStation TV allows you to play PS Vita games straight onto your TV – PS3 and PS4 controllers can also connect to the device so you can enjoy multiplayer PSOne classic games.

Much like the PS Vita, PlayStation TV has the remote play feature with PS4. The PlayStation Now service that allows you to stream and play PS3 games will also be a part of PlayStation TV.

Sony promises to continue to support PlayStation TV in the future so the device could expand on its features even more.
