Return to post-apocalyptic Moscow in Metro: Last LightJune 3 - 6pm
Metro: Last Light – the sequel to the critically acclaimed Metro 2033 – has been announced for release next year. The game will take players back to the post-apocalyptic ruins of Moscow, in a single-player adventure that developer 4A Games said will fuse “thrilling combat with exploration and survival horror”.
Danny Bilson, executive vice president at game company THQ said the orignal Metro suffered from a lack of marketing but thought the sequel would succeed where the first didn’t. “Metro: Last Light is another artful piece of game development from an Eastern European studio that will thrill and terrify anyone looking for a more cerebral experience than your typical first person shooter.”
Metro: Last Light pitches players into the midst of a civil war for control over a doomsday device that threatens to destroy humanity.
Metro: Last Light will be unveiled to the public at this years’ E3 Convention with a live gameplay demonstration.
