Hawke?s Bay district health to replace PCs and printers

Minimum mandatory requirements for PCs include:

  • Business desktop personal computers with Intel Core/Pentium D
    processor; 2GB ram; 1280 x 1024 video resolution with 32bit colour capable;
    full duplex 100/1000 NIC; Windows XP professional operating system; 3 year
    warranty.
  • LCD 17-inch screens with 1280 x 1024 video resolution capable;
    must be black in colour; 3 year warranty.
  • Laptop PC with Intel Duo/Pentium M/Centrino processor; 2GB ram;
    1024 x 768 screen resolution (or better); 802.11 b/g WLAN; 100/1000 NIC;
    Windows XP professional operating system; 3 year warranty.

The current standard Desktop Print/Fax/Copy
Multifunction model is the Canon iR1022iF and is the baseline for
specification, performance and durability. Minimum mandatory requirements for printers
include:

  • Print, Fax, Copy multifunction device, internally networked
    10/100/1000; 16-30 page-per-minute; IP Port 9100 print capable; Win XP
    driver; web-based administration tool; scan to PDF/TIFF delivery to
    email/network file option; G3 fax; flat bed glass scan option for
    copy and fax; durable ADF/lid option; 3-year warranty; local return
    to base (RTB), single AC power cord.
  • Current standard Networked Mono Laser Printer is HP LaserJet
    2430dtn.
  • Networked mono laser printer: internally networked 10/100/1000;
    16-30 page-per-minute; IP Port 9100 print capable; Win XP driver; LCD
    status display and configuration option; web-based administration tool; 3-year
    warranty; local return to base, single consumable toner, bin options.

On-going support will also be required within
the Hastings and Napier region. Vendors should include details on their
capabilities in this area within their EOI.

Pricing information should not be
included or be able to be inferred from the EOI responses and should be no more
than five pages long. No faxed, emailed or phone EOIs will be considered.
