Local Google apps specialist WaveAdept has been sold to Atlanta based Cloud Sherpas.

The Wellington based company has implemented Google apps into some well known organisations, including Tait Electronics, law firms and a number of government departments. Wave Adept is understood to have had at least 55 customers using Google apps.

The company will be re-branded Cloud Sherpas, to leverage the fact that the US firm is thought to be Google’s largest apps integrator.

The purchase price was not disclosed.
