New ‘tiny’ desktops from LenovoMay 22 - 3pm 4
Lenovo has offered locals a look at its new ThinkCentre ‘tiny’ desktop series, showing the slim units off at the CeBIT trade fair in Sydney after officially announcing them earlier this month.
The flagship of the series is the M92p, which Lenovo says is the industry’s first one-litre, Intel vPro-enabled desktop.
Capable of supporting up to four monitors in ‘Mosaic’ mode – or three independent monitors without a graphics card – the M92p includes a 3rd-generation Intel Core i5 processor, as well as a solid state or traditional hard drive, integrated graphics, USB 3.0 and wi-fi.
All this comes in a form factor the width of a golf ball (34.5mm).
David Heyworth, director, product solutions and alliances for Lenovo ANZ, says the ‘tiny’ series has been designed for businesses of all sizes and functionalities.
“Our desktop solutions are continually evolving to meet the needs of today’s business users,” Heyworth says, “offering uncompromising security, manageability, reliability and performance.”
Due to be available here next month, the M92p has been priced from $1499, while the lower-spec M72e starts at $709.
