Another vendor has joined the fight for IT departments’ mobility dollars, with Unisys launching a suite of services to help CIOs manage the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) trend.

The suite includes services like Mobility Assessment, Mobile Application Development, and Mobile User Authentication.

On top of these, Unisys has also launched MyWork Services for Mobile, a set of subscription-based managed services designed to help IT departments enforce policies for managing mobile devices.

Terry Hartmann, vice president, global security solutions for Unisys, says the mobility revolution is changing the way work gets done.

“Organisations need to move quickly to respond to these new requirements or risk being left behind,” Hartmann says.

“Our new services are designed to reduce the complexity of enterprise mobile access, security and support and guide clients on how to take advantage of new opportunities to transform the user experience.”
