A leading expert in the field of virtualisation is to deliver seminars in Auckland and Wellington thanks to independent education provider The Image College.

Scott Lowe, chief technology officer for EMC and author of three books on virtualisation, will present a one-day seminar titled Charting Your Journey to Pervasive Virtualisation, explaining the essentials of the new technology ‘free from manufacturers’ marketing messages’.

According to the release from The Image College, “Along the way, people who attend this event will learn about how virtualisation co-exists with IaaS-based cloud computing, and Scott will take a close look at the security implications involved in successfully implementing a virtualised infrastructure.”

The seminars will take place at The Spencer on Byron on Auckland’s North Shore on November 1, and at the Town Hall in Wellington on November 3.
