Wellington's OptimalBI makes Deloitte Fast 50 Index
Mon, 16th Sep 2013
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Wellington IT company OptimalBI joins the ranked index of 49 other fast growing companies in New Zealand, yet one of few IT consultancy companies to feature.

Based on the last three years of revenue growth, the rankings will be announced at the next Deloitte Fast 50 event on November 6 in Auckland.

OptimalBI Managing Director, Victoria MacLennan, who recently returned from a jaunt around the Caribbean, was hyped with the news of their placing; “I’m pretty stoked," she said.

Alongside MacLennan is her business partner, Shane Gibson, who was similarly as animated upon hearing the news of their placement; “Awesome," he said.

Gibson claims the success of the company to date illustrates their determination to outshine their competitors with a better product offering and better care of the work they are charged with.

Armed with a strong moral compass pointing due north, always, the company has an anti-policy policy, that allows their people to roam freely around the office as they please and create their own job titles such as ‘adds value – no title required’, ‘storytelling data artist’ and ‘party princess’.

The company is also backed by a set of values unlike any other IT consultancy company in the world – ‘don’t be dodgy’, our ‘people rock’ and ‘it’s about happy endings’.

Their goal for this month is to provide a ‘s***-hot customer experience’ which they will do so, freely and easily while celebrating their five years in business with a party of epic proportions in October.
