As part of its support of the creative community, Mac retailer Yoobee will host adventure photographer Tony Harrington at its Newmarket store tonight.

Harrington will discuss how to ‘capture the moment’ with digital photography, and the ways mobile and social technologies have changed the photography industry, the Yoobee website says.

Harrington founded the World Heli Challenge, a contest held in Wanaka which sees extreme skiers and snowboarders helicoptered to the highest peaks of Mt Aspiring National Park and tasked with finding the most challenging way down.

“Tony ‘Harro’ Harrington has shot some of the most adventurous and extreme elements of surf, snow and its lifestyle around the world for more than 25 years,” the site promo reads.

“More than a photographer, Harro creates and produces major adventure projects that have featured in media around the globe.”
