Samsung strikes back with anti-Apple ad

Samsung has struck back in the smartphone war, posting a mocking advertisement pitting it’s own Galaxy S III against Apple’s newly released iPhone 5.

Titled “It doesn’t take a genius”, in blatant reference to Apple’s TV and customer support representatives who they call ‘Geniuses’, the South Korean company lists the two handset’s features side-by-side in a highly biased comparison.

Used to illustrate Samsung’s apparent wealth of new features as opposed to the iPhone 5, the Galaxy S III is shown to offer 27 new options, acknowledging only 13 from Apple.

Although not clear what publications ran the advertisement yesterday, the release highlights the incredible tension between the warring firms and offers a heavy indication of the rivalry customers should expect in the near future.
