Publishers Simon & Schuster released Walter Isaacson’s biography of deceased Apple founder Steve Jobs yesterday, with early indications suggesting the book will sell equally as well as Jobs’ top products.

Amazon spokesperson Brittany Turner has told Reuters the book ‘could very likely’ be the online retailer’s top-selling book of 2011.

The book’s publication date was brought forward from November 21 after Jobs passed away near the beginning of October.

Early reviews say the book skilfully captures the character of Jobs, who is hailed as a visionary but is also known for having a nasty streak.

Meanwhile, Apple has posted a video of the massive tribute to Steve Jobs the company held at its California headquarters last week. Check out the 80-minute celebration here.
