Steve Wozniak: Apple should make an android phone

At the Apps World North America conference in San Francisco, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak gave Wired a wide ranging interview including his favourite iPhone 5S colour – but his most colourful comment was surely suggesting that his former company should release an Android handset.

“There’s nothing that would keep Apple out of the Android market as a secondary phone market,” said Wozniak

“We [Apple] could compete very well. People like the precious looks of stylings and manufacturing that we do in our product compared to the other Android offerings. We could play in two arenas at the same time.”

As outrageous as these comments might sound to some Apple and Android ‘fanboy’s’ (and girls, such a handset is technically not impossible – although the chances of such a device actually being manufactured are slim to zero.

Although this isn’t the first and most likely will not be the last time Wozniak comments on his former companies exploits, it is always good to here the tech mogul’s thoughts. In the interview he also comments on why he believes Apple are yet to release a smart-watch device.
