Wozniak questions jOBs accuracy

Steve Wozniak has disputed the first video clip of the soon to be released Steve Jobs film, branding the scene “inaccurate.”

The Apple co-founder questioned the clip from the movie jOBS, which depicts Jobs and Wozniak discussing a computer Wozniak is building that would eventually become Apple 1.

Jobs, played by Aston Kutcher, walks through the parking garage at Hewlett-Packard, where Wozniak worked at the time, trying to convince his partner that the public would buy his computer.

“Nobody wants to buy a computer. Nobody,” Wozniak says during the scene.

“How does somebody know what they want if they’ve never even seen it?”

Yet Wozniak took to Gizmodo to question the clip, posting the following:

“Not close…we never had such interaction and roles…I’m not even sure what it’s getting at…personalities are very wrong although mine is closer…”

“Don’t forget that my purpose was inspired by the values of the Homebrew Computer Club along with ideas of the value of such machines and Steve J. wasn’t around and didn’t attend the club so he was the one learning about such social impact of the future.”
