Multimedia software company Adobe has used the Mobile World Congress currently taking place in Barcelona to launch the first of its Touch apps for iPad, Adobe Photoshop Touch.

Adobe says iPad versions of its five other Touch apps – Ideas, Debut, Proto, Collage and Kuler – will be released later this year.

With Photoshop Touch for iPad, users can touch up and edit photos, apply effects, and combine multiple photos into layered images. There’s a Scribble Selection tool that lets the user extract objects in an image by scribbling over them, and a Refine Edge tool that makes it possible to select objects with soft edges.

Photoshop Touch for iPad costs $13.99 – go here for more.
