FYI, this story is more than a year old

Dell has introduced its largest ever all-in-one PC to the New Zealand market, in a direct challenge to the top-end iMac.

In its most basic form, the XPS One 27 offers a 27-inch, 2560x1440 pixel ‘Full Quad HD' screen, an intel Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM and 1TB of memory. Consumers looking for more can upgrade to 8GB of memory, and again to a core i7 processor and a 2TB hard drive.

Other optional extras include a graphics card from NVIDIA and a slot-load Blu-ray disc drive. Sound comes from built-in Infinity speakers and Waves MaxxAudio 4, and there's a full HD webcam with an integrated dual digital microphone array for video chat.

Running Windows 7 Home Premium, the XPS One 27 starts at $2399, with the top-end model discounted from $3499 to $2999 until June 28 as a special launch promo. Go here for more details.
