Accounting software specialist Reckon gives a big pat on the back to the Reckon Best Home Page award winner at the NetGuide Web Awards 2013.

Google.co.nz has been announced as the winner of the Reckon Best Home Page from four other big-name finalists at the NetGuide Web Awards 2013, taking out the award from nzcity.co.nz, nzherald.co.nz, stuff.co.nz and yahoo.co.nz.

Reckon was proud to be the sponsor of one of the most prestigious categories of the night, the Reckon Best Home Page Award.

Catie Cotcher, GM for Reckon NZ, says the win was certainly a coup for Google.co.nz but it was also encouraging to see how many high-end contenders were in the mix and the sheer quality of their sites.

The NetGuide Awards are voted for by the public. This year – the 16th year the awards have been held – a reported 295,000 votes were cast, well up on the previous year.

The awards were announced last night at the awards event at Hilton Hotel in Auckland city.
