FileMaker is offering users the chance to fast track their development of customised mobile business solutions for iPad and iPhone, through three seminars across New Zealand.

FileMaker, a wholly owned subsidiary of Apple, will teach users how to think about mobility and how to develop, deploy and access mobile data solutions using the FileMaker platform.

Scheduled through out the second week in April at Auckland (April 8), Wellington (April 10) and Christchurch (April 11), FileMaker will discuss the rapidly evolving world of mobility and how the FileMaker platform is positioned in this market.

Directed towards intermediate and experienced developers, the seminars will provide a range of skills and ideas for developing great mobile solutions.

For less experienced users, the seminars are a great way to see what is possible with the FileMaker platform so that you can direct your developer or improve your own skills.

You will learn about:

* Designing, building and deploying mobile FileMaker solutions
* Creating intuitive user interfaces and great user experience
* Protect your data and automate processes for easy use

The full day course will be presented by FileMaker’s Asia Pacific Systems Engineer, David Head. He is an experienced presenter who will be able to explain technical matters in an easily understandable way so you get the most from your seminar.

With over 20 years experience developing FileMaker solutions for a broad range of users and industries, Head is a FileMaker 12 Certified Developer, presenting conferences through out the Asia Pacific region.

For those interested, before the seminar, think about a task or process you want to mobilise and bring this thought to the session.

If you have an iPad or iPhone bring your device along, and download FileMaker Go 12 to familiarise yourself with the the product beforehand.
