Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 released in NZ

Microsoft New Zealand has announced the availability of its latest business management software for small and medium businesses, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013.

The new version of the business solution becomes the company’s first cloud-centric Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tool to be delivered via Windows Azure according to the software manufacturer.

Microsoft says the device will offer small to medium-sized businesses an intuitive user experience, insightful business intelligence and reporting tools, including deeper ties into Microsoft’s portfolio of products.

“Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 is a significant milestone for Microsoft and our Dynamics NAV customer base,” says Lindsay Zwart, Dynamics Lead at Microsoft New Zealand.

“Dynamics NAV 2013 leverages Microsoft’s wider suite of business technologies such as Business Intelligence (BI), SharePoint, Lync and cloud services to deliver the next level of ERP product to our users.

“We’ve enhanced our RoleTailored User Interface, which will lead to faster, more efficient implementation and greater web browser capability.”

The new features gives customers greater choice when connecting to their system according to Microsoft, while Windows Azure integration offers the choice between on-premises or cloud deployment.

“Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 represents significant opportunity for mid-sized organisations to leverage the benefits of a powerful, market-leading product at an affordable price,” says Simon Bright, Intergen’s Chief Operating Officer.
