Romotive can turn your iPhone into a robot

Most startup stories are relatively quiet and often dull affairs but not Romotive.

This small San Francisco based Startup can turn your iPhone into a robot – that’s right a robot! complete with a crazy face.

Romotive is a mobile robotic platform that uses your smartphone as its brain. When connected with any iOS device, ‘Romo’ becomes a friendly robotic avatar that wanders about your home or office.

They have developed from a simple prototype and with the help of a crowdfunding campaign and a temporary assembly line, this company now has over USD $5 million in funding and employs 19 staff members so far.
