Aruba Networks and Connector Systems have today signed a distribution agreement covering the New Zealand region.

As a result of the deal, the value added distributor will be distributing the entire Aruba product range which encompasses Wireless LAN, Remote Networking, Wired Access, Outdoor Mesh, Access Management and Network Management.

“We are hugely excited to be adding Aruba Networks to our wireless portfolio,” says Mark Dasent, General Manager of Networking and Wireless, Connector Systems.

“As a world-wide market leader and innovator of wireless solutions, Aruba Networks is a truly global company with a quality reputation.

“Connector Systems is actively seeking vendor partners of this calibre to strengthen and expand our comprehensive wireless offerings to our resellers.

"Aruba has a mature and comprehensive channel enablement program which we look forward to taking to the market. We will also be holding training events as part of the launch.

“In the BYOD age, it’s necessary to offer products that make life easier and Aruba Networks’ Mobile Virtual Enterprise (MOVE) architecture does this.

"It unifies all things mobility into one cohesive system that strengthens security and simplifies BYOD initiatives – extremely attractive concept to both resellers and end-users."

As reported by TechDay last month, Aruba MD Steve Coad expressed his delight at the deal.

“Connector Systems is a strong partner with the necessary depth, breadth and scale of expertise that our resellers need to help grow our businesses,” he said.

“This agreement will enable our channel partners to provide ongoing onsite and remote support for Aruba’s MOVE architecture and associated solutions. We are delighted to be working together.
