Brightpoint signs Jabra distribution deal

Brightpoint New Zealand has signed a distribution deal with GN Netcom Asia to distribute a range of Jabra car speakerphones and mobile headsets. 

Jabra’s mobile headset solutions include in-car wireless headsets and stereo headset devices. 

Products launched recently in New Zealand include the Cruiser2 and the Jabra Stone. 

Jonathan Tang, Managing Director, Jabra Asia-Pacific, said, “New Zealand is an important market for Jabra, particularly the car speakerphone category. We are delighted to work with Brightpoint, as their expertise in the mobile communications channel is impressive.”

James Watters, Managing Director, Brightpoint Australia and New Zealand, added, “We anticipate strong consumer market demand for Jabra headsets and car speakerphone products, driven by innovative designs and smart product features.” 

Brightpoint New Zealand was established in 1998 through the acquisition of Cell Direct Limited
