IT management company CA Technologies has appointed 25-year industry veteran Bill McMurray to lead its operations in New Zealand and Australia.

McMurray’s appointment as vice president for ANZ comes after a period working for German-based IDS Scheer AG, where he was senior vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific & Japan.

In a statement, the company says McMurray will be responsible for driving sales, building the partner ecosystem, developing business and managing overall operations in the region.

"Bill has extensive experience in building successful sales teams, and developing customer and partner coverage models” says Lionel Lim, CA Technologies’ president of Asia-Pacific.

"ANZ is a key market and we are delighted to have Bill lead the team to drive value for our customers and market growth.”

McMurray says he is looking forward to working with the CA Technologies team.
