CCL 'rising star' for VMware

Christchurch’s Computer Concepts Limited (CCL) has been named VMware’s ‘Rising Star of the Year’, beating out Australia’s Anittel and Tecala.

The award was announced at the VMware’s Partner Exchange 2014 On Tour in Sydney.

The award recognises the partner who demonstrates the strongest overall business performance through year-on-year growth, achieved through a strong commitment to partnership with VMware.

CCL experienced more than 200% growth last year, having made ‘amazing’ commitments to building its VMware practice around sales, technical and services competencies.

Fujitsu won the ANZ Partner of the Year Award, with Ingram Micro taking out Distribution Partner of the Year.

Jon Waite, CCL New Zealand chief technical officer is pictured receiving the Rising Star award.
