IT distributor Connector Systems has signed a distribution agreement with Calix, a global leader in broadband access systems and software.

Terms of the deal will see the specialist Value Added Distributor (VAD) distribute the entire range of Calix E-Series, P-Series and T-Series solutions.

“We are very excited to be representing the Calix brand,” says Kevin Swainson, General Manager for Security and Telecommunications, Connector Systems.

“Our goal is to grow the Calix market share in Australia and New Zealand across service providers and key vertical market segments.”

Swainson believes Calix provides a new and exciting opportunity for Connector System’s partners to take innovative DSL and all Fiber-solutions to their customers.

“Whether it’s a new Greenfields site or a customer wanting to transition from copper to staged fiber GPON roll out, Calix has a proven and innovative solution.

“We have started certifying our technical and pre-sales engineers as well as sales team and will be working with our channel partners in coming up to speed and helping them identify new opportunities within their customer base.”

With over 30 years in the New Zealand market and 10 years in the Australian market, Connector Systems has offices in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Sydney and Melbourne.
