Connector Systems beefs up security portfolio with new distie deal

Connector Systems, a specialist value-added distributor throughout New Zealand and Australia, will distribute security solutions from CyberArk, the enterprise security provider.

Under the agreement, CyberArk’s full portfolio of Privileged Account Security solutions will be made available through Connector Systems.

“Privileged accounts have emerged as the focal point in the battle with cyber attackers over control of an organisation’s IT infrastructure,” says Mark Dasent, general manager ANZ, Connector Systems.

“Controlling privileged accounts is vital to protecting against advanced threats and is something that every CISO should be aware of.

“Adding CyberArk’s industry-leading technology to our portfolio provides a growth opportunity for us to address the rising demand for solutions that secure the most critical vulnerability organizations face today – exploitation of privileged accounts.”

Dedicated to stopping cyber-attacks before they stop business, CyberArk secures against advanced threats that target privileged accounts before attacks can escalate and do irreparable damage.

The company is trusted by the world’s leading companies – including more than 35 of the Fortune 100 and 17 of the world’s top 20 banks – to protect their highest value information assets, infrastructure and applications.

“Privileged account security is a universal problem that constitutes a critical security layer for companies big and small,” adds Dan Dinnar, vice president for Asia Pacific, CyberArk.

“We are delighted to work with Connector Systems to help protect their customers from the growing threat of advanced attacks aimed at exploiting these powerful accounts.”

Dasent adds that a CyberArk sales engineer will be in New Zealand next week up-skilling, training and meeting with potential partners.
