Growth is Good following double hire

Good Technology has made two key appointments within New Zealand, reflecting the company's growth across ANZ.

Upon confirming the hiring of Gavin Jones into the newly created role of vice president and General Manager of the region, Jon Spragg has also been recruited as Strategic Account manager for the firm,

Good says the new roles comes off the back of explosive growth in ANZ for the company, under the stewardship of Jim Watson.

Jones joins Good following seven years with Salesforce.com, where he most recently held the role of Regional director, Financial Services.

In conjunction with Jones’ appointment, Good has also elevated Watson into an Asia-wide management role as vice president, Asia, where he will focus on new and emerging markets.

Jones is based is Sydney, while Watson remains Melbourne-based.

Based in Wellington however, Spragg’s focus will be on helping customers to develop their secure enterprise mobility strategies in addition to growing the company’s New Zealand customer base.

Spragg joins Good Technology from analyst firm Gartner, where he worked for nine years in various sales and management roles in both Australia and New Zealand.
