IT service management firm Kaseya has named Dermot McCann as Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand.

McCann’s main objective will be to drive expansion across the managed services and enterprise markets in this region.

Prior to joining Kaseya, McCann worked for IBM Australia.

McCann said: ”By leveraging our significant investment in the region, specifically the new Global Support Centre in Auckland, regional R&D and rapidly expanding sales, professional services and support teams, coupled with some incredibly innovative technology that supports the IT service management requirements of MSPs or large enterprise environments, Kaseya is extremely well positioned to aggressively support and enhance our existing client business and also expand our market share further in 2011 and beyond.”

Kaseya says it serves more than 550 on-premise and cloud customers in Australia and New Zealand.

“We see particular growth opportunities and differentiation in the maturity of our cloud offerings and strategy. Not only do we enable IT management through the cloud, but we will also help our clients to implement, sell or manage third party cloud services with our new, tightly integrated, services billing solutions,” McCann added.
