Christchurch-based technology company Jade Software has opened an office in Dubai in response to strong demand for the company’s port management software, ‘Master Terminal’.

Jade has been developing relationships with key industry players like Gulftainer and Milaha, leading to its software being implemented in locations like the Port of Doha.

Captain Kaustubh Dalvi, director of business development for Jade Software freight division Jade Logistics, says the Dubai office will help the company strengthen these relationships.

“Over the last 18 months we’ve achieved significant growth in the Middle East,” Dalvi says, “so it has become a strategic location for Jade.”

Jade Logistics also operates in Iraq, as well as countries as diverse as Italy, Brazil, Georgia, the USA and Poland.
