Kiwi tech veteran takes top ANZ Dell roleJune 11 - 8am
Dell has appointed Angela Fox as the vice president and general manager of Dell Australia and New Zealand.
With over 24 years’ experience in the IT sector, Kiwi Fox will move into her new role after having worked in Singapore as the vice president and general manager of Dell’s Services Business across Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).
“Having worked across Dell’s business, including Enterprise and Services, I am pleased to have the opportunity to build on the momentum that Joe and ANZ leadership team have established as a solutions provider in the ANZ market,” Fox says.
“As a New Zealander, I am thrilled to return from Singapore to be able to lead this region, which is one of Dell’s top markets, globally.
“I am also able to bring my local knowledge to help customers meet their business needs with Dell’s solutions.”
Before her move to Singapore, Fox held various leadership positions including executive director of Dell’s Enterprise Solutions Business in APJ and executive director of Dell’s Enterprise Solutions Business across ANZ.
Prior to joining Dell, she worked at IBM for 16 years where she held several Sales and leadership positions.
Fox replaces Joe Kremer who joined Dell in 2003 in the United States and managed Dell’s business across ANZ in a Sydney-based role from early 2005.
While based down under, Kremer led Dell’s local transformation to become a solutions company and worked in senior roles across APJ.
He also launched Dell ANZ’s Women In IT Executive Mentoring (WITEM) program to advance woman in IT. He leaves Dell to spend time with his family and to pursue personal and philanthropic interests.
“Having hired Angela into the business in 2007, it extremely gratifying to see her success at Dell,” Kremer adds.
“It is a testament to her achievements that she is returning to run the business in ANZ.”
Fox, who will relocate to Sydney with her husband and daughter, and begin her new role on July 7, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Auckland.
