Kordia has denied a deal for internet provider Orcon has fallen through, brushing off speculation following the second collapse of a deal.

The company, who were rumoured to be closing in on an agreement late last week, has yet to make an announcement, leading to speculation the bid broke down.

Orcon has being attracting “intensified” buyer interest during the past few months, but nothing has yet to materialise.

Kordia spokeswoman Emma Morrison said sale discussions were still ongoing however, despite refusing to discuss exact terms of the deal.

"The dates have moved a couple of times, but there are no issues," she said.

Kordia, which rolled Orcon into its network business last year, has been in talks with several parties for a potential sale of the ISP since November last year.
