Lenovo has added a second distributor in New Zealand, announcing it will be represented by Synnex as well as current partners Ingram Micro.

Alan Munro, managing director of Lenovo, says in a statement that the appointment will help strengthen the foundation it has established in New Zealand.

“With the help of our resellers Lenovo has become the number one PC vendor across Asia Pacific,” Munro says, “as well as being the fastest-growing PC company in the world.

“In order to sustain the growth Lenovo has achieved in the last year we are focused on developing strategic partnerships to support our ongoing business development.

“Our partnership with Synnex NZ will help us execute our goal of becoming the PC vendor of choice across New Zealand. This is also further evidence that Lenovo remains committed to its partners and the channel-centric business model that is core to the business globally.”

Synnex New Zealand country manager, Richard Harri, says Synnex is also in strong growth mode.

“It is our intention to carry a good cross-section of the offering, to ensure that we maximise opportunities for our resellers,” Harri says.
