Microsoft rewards Provoke innovation
Wed, 29th May 2013
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Provoke have been one of the big winners at the 2012 Microsoft Partner awards, adding Collaboration and Content Partner of the Year (for their work with Partners Life), and Start-Up Partner of the Year (for their subsidiary Suite) to the trophy cabinet.

The achievement continues the company's winning streak at the annual awards, collecting a further two accolades on top of Country Partner of the Year in 2011.

As pioneers of numerous Microsoft technologies, Provoke CEO Mason Pratt believes the company have an enviable history.

“We have demonstrated sustained market leadership in key Microsoft technologies such as Office365, SharePoint and Windows Azure," he says.

"Accolades such as these further validate our focus on the Microsoft platform and our continued investment in staying at the forefront."

These recent Microsoft awards bring Provoke’s total to ten since they began in 2007, with the company satisfied by the recognition of the work it achieved with key client, Partners Life.

Partners Life required a scalable, cost-effective document management solution and a low-maintenance IT platform and it was Provoke’s expertise in both cloud and SharePoint which enabled them to design and deliver the right solution.

Provoke COO Brendon Ford is pleased to be acknowledged for such an exciting project:

“The solutions we have deployed for Partners Life have been challenging and sometimes complex, so required truly innovative thinking," he says.

"Our ultimate measure of success is the results delivered to our clients, but the significant positive impact this solution has had on Partners Life’s business is thoroughly sweetened by this award.”

Ford is also pleased that it’s Partners Life with whom they get to share this honour:

“Partners Life are a great client to work with.

"They see as much value in the cloud as we do and are always looking for opportunities to leverage the best in technology to meet their strategic objectives.”

Provoke also picked up the competitive Start-Up Partner of the Year via their subsidiary business, The Full Suite, a cloud consultancy set up by Provoke 18 months ago for the IT needs of small and medium-sized businesses.

Of the Start-Up win, Pratt is particularly proud:

"The Full Suite is a true start-up, with all the resource and financial constraints that come with that," he says.

"So, to have done so much in such a short time and to be officially recognised for it is very rewarding and a testament to the talent in that team.”

Pratt also suggests that this is only just the beginning of success for The Full Suite, with a recent partnership with fellow kiwi business Xero picked to accelerate their growth exponentially over the coming months.
