Earlier this month we spoke with the local distributor Simms International (read the full story here). Since the report the folks at Simms have clearly been beavering away, as today they received their 3,000th order.

While a carrot cake and ice creams went down well with the Simms team, the folks at local system integrator CodeBlue will likely be the happiest. Their order was the 3,000th and as part of the celebrations has been processed at no charge.

 "Simms is 100% channel focused and we have been overwhelmed with the support we have received from our resellers since our humble beginnings in March 2010,” said Paul Johnston, Managing Director of Simms International.  "We are fortunate to have the fantastic support of our core vendors - Dell, Motion and Kingston - which have contributed to our growth as a company, and more importantly, supporting the reseller community throughout New Zealand.”

It is not known what the value of the order from CodeBlue was, but let's hope it was a sizeable one.
