MYOB launches Xero competition conversion service
Mon, 21st Oct 2013
FYI, this story is more than a year old

New Zealand’s accounting software MYOB is offering a Xero competition conversion service, available through select local MYOB partners.

In response to what the company is calling "increasing demand for its cloud accounting solutions", MYOB is empowering business operators to switch from Xero or Quickbooks to its flagship cloud-enabled accounting solution, AccountRight Live.

The conversion services programme has been in pilot for the past quarter and to celebrate the move, the company is offering six months’ free access to AccountRight Live for those who make the switch via a Conversion Service partner before 31 December 2013.

“Our vision is to make business life easier by delivering superior new generation cloud solutions and supporting SMEs in moving to the cloud at their own pace," says James Scollay, general manager, Business Division, MYOB.

“New clients are switching to MYOB cloud solutions to enjoy better value and to access a broader set of features through AccountRight Live, a powerful cloud-enabled accounting solution with a rich desktop interface.

"Not to mention the flexibility of choosing to work on their accounts in the cloud, on the desktop or seamlessly switch between the two whenever they like.

"The conversion services have been really well-received by clients and partners alike.

“Today well over 50% of all new MYOB product registrations in New Zealand are for our cloud solutions.

"We’re rapidly delivering on our vision and we’re pleased to help even more SMEs move to the cloud through our conversion services. It’s simple to switch across – just contact one of our conversion service partners and they’ll take care of the rest.”
