Nextgen Distribution secures NZ-only Nimble Storage distie deal

Nextgen Distribution is set to announce a new distribution deal with one of the industry’s “next big storage vendor” this week.

Jumping on board is Nimble Storage, a flash-optimised hybrid storage solutions provider which will be distributed solely by Nextgen across New Zealand.

A company which recently signed a master distribution agreement across Japan with Toshiba also, Nimble Storage products have been built from the ground up to integrate the speed of solid state storage with the efficiency of high-capacity hard disks.

“At the core of every Nimble Storage solution is our patented Cache Accelerated Sequential Layout (CASL) architecture that delivers the very best that flash and hard disk have to offer in a solution that offers performance, scalability, and seamless data protection,” says Suresh Vasudevan, CEO, Nimble Storage.

Nimble’s hybrid storage products are compatible with popular business-critical applications such as Microsoft Exchange and SQL Server, as well as best-of-breed solutions from industry leaders like Citrix, Cisco, and VMware.
