Taking another step into security, the distributor today announced that it has been awarded the ANZ distribution rights for Arbor Networks’ secure service control solutions for global networks.

The agreement covers the full range of Arbor products, including the Peakflow flow-based network security, visibility and analysis and the eSeries for broadband service optimisation.

“As the only Arbor distributor in Australia and New Zealand, we’ll be working with existing VARs and helping Arbor expand its coverage by recruiting more partners to focus on specific vertical markets,” said Martin Christmas, Observatory Crest Director.

He added: “We will also be providing a level of sales and presales support to local Arbor Partners and taking an active role in providing hardware spares for support contracts.”

Observatory Crest has recently signed distribution agreements with F5, Arista and Tumbleweed/Axway and plans to further extend its reach in the application delivery, security and networking ecosystem for local resellers.
