Paul Plester leaves Express Data

With over 14 years with Express Data in senior roles, Techday understands that Paul Plester has left Auckland technology distributor Express Data (ED).

Having started his experience with computers in the New Zealand Airforce, he subsequently worked for Walker Datavision, Computer Logic (Apple Reseller) and Ingram Micro/Tech Pacific and Interconnect (Distributor) before joining ED. Plester joined ED in April 1998 as a Sales Manager. In October 2003 he was promoted to his current role of General Manager of Sales & Marketing.

It’s understood that Plester has already left the organisation and that an internal promotion is likely, although it may not be an equivalent position.

Most NZ technology distributors have reported a soft sales in recent months and ED would be no exception to this.
