Pro-active approach from StorageCraft

FYI, this story is more than a year old

Backup & recovery software vendor StorageCraft is adopting a more aggressive approach to its Asia-Pacific strategy, appointing a new APAC marketing manager in a push to sell itself in the medium and enterprise markets.

StorageCraft vice president, Greg Wyman, says the appointment of Nadine Lafleur to the newly-created position follows a year of substantial growth and accelerated business activity.

"We are very excited to have Nadine on board to lend us her specialised skills,” Wyman says.

"Not only will [she] help equipping our resellers with tools to make selling the product easier, but [she] will also boost our brand recognition within the end user community, and keep our customers engaged with the technology.”

Wyman says StorageCraft’s flagship ShadowProtect range has historically been a niche product targeting the SMB sector, but will now be pushed intensively in the mid and enterprise markets.

"We estimate that we now have over double-digit market share in backup, recovery and disaster recovery markets, yet we know that we have only scratched the surface of what is possible in terms of market penetration.

"This is why we are investing in more senior personnel in preparation for taking our business to the next level."
