Rapoo – the next top wireless peripheral brand in Asia Pacific

Aiming to sit within the top three wireless brands by 2016, leading technology firm RAPOO is fast becoming the next top wireless peripheral brand across Asia Pacific.

Dedicated to providing global customers with high-quality wireless products, the company has been ranked No. 1 in wireless peripheral brand market share in China for more than 3 years.

The Rapoo factory used to manufacture for many Tier 1 European peripheral brand over the last decade, believing that invocation is key in winning the market share.

The company also boasts the first in the world Wireless Charging keyboard, Dual mode mouse-Bluetooth and USB Wireless, which are also able to develop Rapoo’s own switch mechanical keyboard.

A business based around the principles of innovation, collaboration, accountability and sharing, what makes RAPOO different from the competition?

“With our mission “Wireless Your Life” over 10 years, we focus so much in wireless technology to become professional,” says Oliver Shi, APAC General Manager, RAPOO.

“Innovation is the key to growth and that’s why we invest a lot in R&D, to let us develop exclusive technologies like 5GHz wireless connections, unique industrial designs that win iF Product Design Award, and being leader in many new product lines.”

Shi says RAPOO has been expanding rapidly throughout the globe during the past few years, what is the force behind and how to maintain the growth is always the big question.

“Our experience, knowledge, ambitions and passion encourage this practical team to build RAPOO to be global brand,” Shi says.

Started from 2011, RAPOO expanded to worldwide and established key relationships with top tier channels in over 40 countries, which are located in Europe, Asia Pacific and North of America.

Across the ANZ region, the company has already cooperated with tier 1 chain store Noel Leeming, Harvey Norman and JB Hi Fi to name a few.

“We have over 170 patents and 12 years accumulated experience in wireless technology, which will ensure RAPOO to be leading brand,” Shi adds.

From Hollywood to the real world…

Stunning robotic technologies are eye-catchers in quite a few Hollywood blockbusters. But in the real world, futuristic robotic technologies are already making inroads in electronics manufacturing.

As the PC peripheral industry is constantly pressured to reduce costs, RAPOO has decided that robots and automation technologies must be the key in the production lines. Now Rapoo has downsized its workforce from 3,000 in 2011 to the present 1,000, but output has increased threefold.

“RAPOO has developed the most advance robotic production line – an electronics automation machine can replace more than 20 workers,” Shi adds.

A company with a laser-sharp focus on the years ahead, RAPOO’s work in the world of wireless is far from over, in fact, it’s only getting started.
