Reseller rates rise as Paessler drives Network Monitoring ANZ demand

FYI, this story is more than a year old

Network monitoring solution provider Paessler AG has revealed a channel recruitment drive to help partners capitalise on the growing demand for network monitoring solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

Paessler’s financial results from the first half of 2014 show a 40% increase in the number of local partners signed this year, resulting in a 26% increase in sales regionally.

Paessler reported a 25% sales growth in Australia and 30% growth in New Zealand, with both countries surpassing the sales results from the first half of 2013.

Reseller rates grew significantly, reaching 29% across ANZ, compared to 18% achieved in the first half of 2013.

Paessler attributes the increased interest in the network monitoring solution to the unique capabilities of its PRTG Network Monitor, Paessler’s flagship product and its integrated initiatives to support channel partners.

These include a Marketing Toolkit for resellers and the Certified Professional Program, through which more than 30 partners have qualified as Paessler Sales or Monitoring Professionals over the past year.

“Our resellers and managed service providers have received excellent feedback from their customer base, prompting them to incorporate new sensors, increase their capabilities and add licenses,” says Andrew Timms, Channel Manager, Paessler, ANZ.

“With the industry moving toward ITaaS, we’re adding new cloud and MSP partners and working to ensure the local IT community is well-equipped to support future growth while demonstrating our commitment to maintaining industry-best qualifications to existing customers.”

In order to continue meeting the rising demand for network monitoring and testing solutions, Paessler has also hired Louise Flynn as Marketing Manager, APAC.

Based in Brisbane, Flynn will utilise several years’ experience in marketing and within the monitoring solutions industry to support the local team and drive continued growth.

“Marketing initiatives and investment in local events and trade shows such as Cisco Live Melbourne have opened doors to new partner and customer relationships," Timms adds.

"Louise will help us extend our reach, allowing the team to better serve our existing customers and partners and create new opportunities for growth."
