Dell today announced it will be offering selected printing products through Kiwi distributor Simms International.

Simms International, which already supplies a number of Dell and other IT products to the ANZ corporate and reseller channels, will market thirteen of Dell’s single and multi-function monochrome and colour laser printers. The contract also includes cartridge fulfillment for selected models.

This arrangement has expanded the number of printers available through Simms in New Zealand, and introduced the company a distributor of Dell printers in Australia. Simms had been distributing Dell Vostro desktops and laptops, as well as a range of servers, storage, networking products, and peripherals since February 2010.

“Dell has a strong product offering, and with a vacant printer category within our portfolio, we see this as the perfect opportunity to enter this category,” said Danny Moore, managing director of Simms International.

The Simms International agreement expands on Dell’s existing printer distributor relationship with Altech Computer Corporation for Australia and New Zealand.
