SnapperNet secures first deal of 2014 – Panasonic NZ on boardFebruary 20 - 9am
SnapperNet, the data communication products distributor, has announced it first new signing of a partner deal in 2014 with Panasonic New Zealand, for the distribution of their advanced SIP endpoint product range of phones.
Richard Paul, Director for SnapperNet, says it’s fantastic to be able to distribute products from such a “trusted, recognisable household brand.”
“Panasonic is an ideal match for us because we have extensive experience with voice over IP and already work with an existing customer base of IT integrators,” he says.
“We will be distributing Panasonic’s multi-cell DECT solution which allows businesses to stay in constant touch with colleagues and customers even when they are unmetered and moving within a large work environment like a factory or school.”
Panasonic now offers desk and DECT phones certified to work with SIP capable systems including Asterisk and Broadsoft switching platforms.
“One of the challenges we have as a company is getting the right people to see what we have to offer under the right circumstances and getting exposure on the specific benefits of our niche products,” says Mark Ralph-Smith, Group Manager of Communication Solutions, Panasonic NZ.
“Joining up with Snapper Networks will allow products to be presented as part of a package in the initial stages of systems set-up – the time when they need it most and don’t want to have to speak to ten different suppliers to get up and running.
“The partnership will allow the SIP endpoint product range to be marketed to channels Panasonic simply could not target on their own.”
