Warehouse CFO Stephen Small tragically passes away

Warehouse Group Chief Financial Officer Stephen Small has tragically passed away, as revealed by the retailer at the close of the market yesterday.

“It is with the deepest sadness that the Board of Directors advises of the sudden death of Stephen Small, Group Chief Financial Officer of The Warehouse Group Limited earlier today,” said Ted van Arkel, Chairman, The Warehouse, in a statement.

“Stephen was a hugely respected member of our Executive team and it is a shock to us all at this time.

“Stephen will be greatly missed by our team. We send our deepest sympathies to his wife Yoko and his family who are in the thoughts and prayers of the entire Company.”

Having been with the company since April 2012, Small joined from General Motors Korea, where he was also CFO.
