Business security solution vendor WatchGuard has promoted ANZ country manager Scott Robertson to the role of vice president, Asia Pacific sales.

Robertson has spent five years with the company, and in his new role will be responsible for South Korea, Japan, South East Asia, China and India in addition to Australia and New Zealand.

Joe Wang, CEO of WatchGuard Technologies, cites Robertson’s consistent record of sales growth, his hands-on experience, and his ‘unyielding commitment to channel partners’ as the reasons for the appointment.

“Asia Pacific continues to be one of WatchGuard’s high-growth markets,” Wang says.

“Scott will prove to be a tremendous asset in growing our presence throughout Asia Pacific.”

Robertson replaces Terry Haas; WatchGuard is currently recruiting for his ANZ replacement.
