Westcon NZ in safe hands as distributor reveals management reshuffle

Weston Group New Zealand has revealed a management reshuffle to fill the void left by former Managing Director Dave Rosenberg, who was recently appointed the company’s regional Managing Director across ANZ.

Previously General Manager of the company’s Vendor Business, industry veteran Mark Baker now moves into the Sales and Marketing Director Role, responsible for all New Zealand sales, marketing and sales support functions including customer service.

Furthermore Finance Director Tony Frost has the added responsibility of Human Resource, IT and Operations as the distributor aims to continue its impressive start to 2014.

Joining Westcon in May 1997, Baker’s 17 years of experience, along with nearly five years as the company’s financial controller for Frost, ensures the organisation’s Kiwi division is in safe hands following Rosenberg’s move to a more regional position.

“We’ve had a great year in New Zealand from a business perspective and everything is going exceptionally well,” said Rosenberg, who told The Channel last month that he will still be a regular visitor to the company’s North Shore-based headquarters.

“I’m fortunate that we have a very capable leadership team in New Zealand so there’s no problems on the front – which is a testament to how good my staff actually are.”
